Founder & Executive Director
Bill Dyer founded Restored Life Journeys in 2012 after graduating from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC. Prior to and during school Bill volunteered at Raleigh Central Prison, Salisbury Correctional, and Mecklenburg County Jail. He has participated in Kairos Prison Ministry, provided pastoral care visits, and facilitated re-entry programs.

From 1994 – 2007 Bill owned Quantum Leap Resources, a speaking and seminar company focused on educating and inspiring people to reach their full potential. Before starting that business in 1994, Bill received a B.S. degree from Tulane University in 1983; he worked as a geologist and field crew manager in oilfields along the Louisiana-Texas Gulf Coast and West Africa, and later developed and managed sales territories for DuPont in their commercial explosives division.

Janine Jones – Jacksonville, FL

Janine M. Jones is a former early childhood/elementary education teacher.  She has worked with at-risk children in a school setting and in a social services agency.  Through the department of religious services she has volunteered in the federal and state prison systems, working with both male and female inmates.  She has served on teams for Kairos prison ministry.

Currently, Janine is a volunteer facilitator for Restored Life Journeys in the Bridges to Life program.

Janine is a former member of the Commission on Ministry for the Diocese of Florida.  She is an active member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church where she facilitates a children’s ministry.

She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from The Florida State University.

Janine and her husband, Eddie, live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Ruth Ann Hepler – Jacksonville, FL
After practicing law for 22 years, Ruth Ann Hepler recently made a career transition into the nonprofit sector, where she works as the Development Officer for City Rescue Mission. Her interest in restorative justice was spurred by many years of criminal defense work.

Ruth Ann is President-Elect of the San Marco Rotary Club and Secretary of the West Council of the Jax Chamber. She serves on the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women and is active in the Women Business Owners of North Florida as well as the Chamber.

She and her husband Carey have three daughters. They also own and operate a small business called Fibrenew Hepler Bros. Ruth Ann holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and a law degree from the University of Florida.

Merikay Tillman, M.S.
Merikay Tillman is the owner & CEO of COACH MKay Companies, LLC based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Her mission is to act as a catalyst to help individuals and organizations create positive change to reach new heights in professional and personal performance.

Ms.Tillman received her undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and her master’s degree from NC A&T State University in Human Resource Counseling and is a current member of the National Speakers Association, International Speakers Network, and the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants. Ms.Tillman has a diverse background working as a restaurant manager, dental office manager, sales professional for Dale Carnegie® Training, and a consultant for a healthcare firm. She has over ten years of experience as a consultant and program facilitator. Ms.Tillman offers professional development to a variety of audiences including dentists, physicians, corporate executives, managers, supervisors, & front line team members. Ms. Tillman is a certified Dale Carnegie® instructor and customizes all programs to meet the goals of the event.
